Should the AGC show a percentage, as I get 0% for all channels?

not sure if it makes any difference but mine shows 99% on most channels and 93/91% on others so not too sure

thers quite a few guys here using the et9000 so hopefully one of them can get back to you on that but i dont think its a driver issue as loads of people would have mentioned it or complained about it

Same here on the ET9K, picture doesn't break so why worry about it.

just trying to adjust my dish as it is out slightly for 26e & noticed that the agc wasn't working that's all

I take it that agc refers to the quality of the signal?

mine also shows 0% and if i remeber correct this was a issue pointed out when the et9000 was in pre release beta stages and was put down to driver issue

SNR = Signal to Noise Ratio
AGC = Automatic Gain Control
BER = Bit Error Rate

not sure how accurate this info is, just found it by googling

SNR = Signal to Noise Ratio - which means signal quality
AGC = Automatic Gain Control - which means signal strength
BER = Bit Error Rate - which shows the error rate of the signal.

any recievers sig strenghs are questionable, the early dm 800,s showed a sig strength of 30%

as are the cheapy sat meters, but they do give an idea of whats better or worse

my ct 9000 gives the same results

unless you have a meter, the only way at the mo, is the snr strength
