    Another problem guys.

I cannot get my Netgear wireless dongle (WG111v3) to work with the new build. It worked flawlessly with the last build but will not connect with the new.

I have tried via DHCP and static IP. It sees my wifi router but refuses to connect.

I have tried restarting the network, the box and the router, re-entering the WPA-PSK password.

It works fine via a LAN set up, using DHCP or static...

    shaft.

Thank you guys for bringing us these beautiful images with increased functionality.

For some reasons, I have been experiencing some freezes with this latest image. I initially thought it was the key (xxxx.cfg) I was using but I used the same key on one of my other boxes (blackpanther) and it works without any freezes whatsoever.

IS there any setting I need to enable / disable to stop the freezes?

    Cheers guys

Not sure what you mean by an image being (not) sharp & responsive.

Not sure what you mean by freezes either... Not experiencing any freezes or lockups or remote response problems

I have to say that in general this release has been a delight to install.
However, both on the initial release and now with 234, I have woken up to basically a "dead" box after putting it into standby the night before.
This morning it had the correct date and the time at 4.18, which may be significant as I guess it has just updated the Xepg (scheduled for 4.00).
    There are no logs.
Neither remote or pushing buttons on the box do anything.

    Any ideas?

Enable debuglogs and upload them when such an accident occurred: they are invaluable for such cases.

ok so im going to flash today

    after seeing

All Users - A full flash is required
You can not use backup restore or online update from 2.4 with this image
In this image the core has been extensively rewritten by Andy in conjunction with the OE Alliance.
You are advised to take a full image backup before flashing.
does this mean if it picks up any backups on flashing, not to install them???

as a little pointless to say at the end of the above, a full image backup is advised, if you cant use it with 3.0?
or is this for if you hate 3.0 and go back to 2.4?
