Lightbulb Editing channel list on laptop

    Hi,

I would be grateful if someone could tell me how I can read and edit the channel list (*.tbn) on my laptop (Mac). Managing the channels and favorites directly on my TM5302HD is far too laborious.

    Thanks in advance,

    Davood

It's more like the only dedicated STB tool for a mac there have been ports of other apps such as DBE ( DreamboxEdit ) but they have been very weak to say the least.

Theres is no Mac or PC channel editor available for the TM-5302 yet. Theres been talk of Technomate releasing a PC channel editor soon.

All I want is a very simple (almost text like) editor to delete repeats, set up the favorites etc on my Mac and then put it back on the receiver (TM5302HD). I do not need any other functionality. At the moment I cannot find any application to open the mysterious *.tbn file.

might be worth contacting Technomate and asking them when a channel editor will be availble.

Just spoke to Technomate. They say a channel editor is being developed and should be ready for general release soon.
