Here's some more logs. I had 10 in a row of the root crash from 00:22 to 00:29. I've only uploaded the last one as they were all the same file size.

Any idea on the cause/fix for this yet, please?

Looks like your HDD could be full.

Probably is by now, but still having freeezing problems.
Last night I watched 1 channel for 2 hours, box completely unresponsive wouldn't change volume, channel, anything.....
Would the box make 10 logs beacuse the HDD is full?????

Yes if your trying to record and its full. As Punisher asked, when was the last time you initialized your HDD? Maybe try backing up your recordings that you want to keep and re-initialize your HDD.

My m8 and I have the same issues with both a Duo and 2 Ultimo STB, so no cure selling Duo!!

If the Duo has a HDD installed Try re-initializing that HDD while it's using a kernel 3.1.1 image. i'm not saying it will cure all your issues but at this point you have nothing at all to loose.

I'm at work rite now and cant remember the exact steps needed to change the recording path within the image, if no one else posts before i get home this evening i'll post it up for you.
