I was going to suggest the same, disconnect the ultimo from the home hub and switch the hub off and then try a FTA channel and see how that works. Ive heard of 1 or 2 situations in the past where the hub has caused strange issues but its a longshot attempt

85 cm motorised dish (USALS North West)
Inverto Black Ultra 0.2dB Quad Output LNB (bought from Sponsor at same time as Ultimo)
    VU+ Ultimo (3x DVB-S2/S2)
    Running VIX 2.3 (Linux 3.1.1) build 204
Cccam 2.1 and Mgcamd 1.35a for VIX (all downloaded from Vix cams)
Answer probably lies in your own post.

Are you getting break up on Horizontal or Vertical Polarities ? Have you aligned LNB correctly and check F-Connector.

The VU's do not have the most sensitive tuners. The Spiderbox is probably more sensitive and hence more forgiving.

    Hope that helps

    Thanks

Receiver's been returned to WOS shop and tested by them and is faulty. Just waiting for a replacement to be sent out.

    Thanks everyone for your help.
