Anyone having trouble with this as it wont boot on my box just sticks at the "Starting screen!!"
Gone back to 2.2.1 for now any ideas

Its working great on my Duo, and i have easily flashed it 100 times this last week

SIMPLES.
How long does it hang on the starting screen I left it a good 10mins??
I put it in my usb memory 3 times and still same problem "sticks at the Loading screen!!"
try a different stick, or reformat it and try it again. the image definately works but something isnt working right for you guys, just do a bita trial and error

well my duo is booting in around 2 minutes, i did have a little trouble with the uno the first time i flashed the new kernel as it took about 10 minutes to boot up, but subsequent flashes have seen no problem with either box.

I forget to mention that I did first the update online because I saw the flashing lit in the skin....and after it finshed downloading asked me to rebooot and it did not boot...
then, I check the forum here...and found the new update....download and put it in my usb memory...and no booting...sticks at the loading screen
help
how u upgrading? i hope you doing a new flash and not a software update lol

if you where on the old 2.2 images, make sure your on the new boot loader that came with 2.3,
also the long boot time on first flash it may be that you HDD / USB stick are being checked for errors, try to listen for the HDD activity. if you can here it just wait.

you need to reflash this version due to changes, you can make a bsettings backup which will restore your settings but it wont restore the plugins due to changes again.

SIMPLES.
There are problems with this kernel.
When using mgcamd and zapping channels for 5 mins, all of the sudden some chanels don't open (black screen) while others are ok, this happens on any channels. the only solution is restart, then all seems fine for another 5 mins.
I first noticed this issue with BH and beta kernel when they released, reported it, but it seems it;s not fixed.
I'm switching back to old kernel, till get confirmation that this issue is fixed.
