Hauppauge WinTV-NOVA-T USB Stick - VIX?

    Hi all,
Just got a Hauppauge WinTV-NOVA-T USB Stick - DVB-T Digital freeview TV tuner stick.
Can anyone tell me if this will work out of the box on a VU DUO with latest VIX or if I need to install any additional drivers to get it to work?
If it works on the DUO & VIX, should it work in Ireland on Irish channels? and if so, how do I get the EPG for RTE+1 and so on...

Just plugged the stick into the box, found the drivers in the plugins menu, installed & rebooted.
Worked straight off & my EPG is populated too, delighted...

I have a Hauppauge WinTV-NOVA-TD stick which installed and works under Vix. This gives me a quad tuner box. However, I have found that recordings and ultimately live decoding falls over after a while. I tried playing with the recordings sync buffer and the mux buffer (Vix 2.2.110) though I remain unsure what relevance these settings have. Currently I've set Vix to reboot every 24 hours and this has reduced the problem.

My problem may be exacerbated by using the dual tuner version of this stick... double the memory leak?

I would be interested if you have any problems along these lines.

Hiya, I bought it on Amazon, you might get one cheaper elsewhere.
It does work perfect for the Irish channels, have been recording them while watching others & recording UK channels on the other tuners at the same time.
Well worth the addition to your VU.

Just noticed while I can record Irish channels on this stick & watch them back on my DUO with VIX without any issues, if I copy the recorded .ts file to my PC, I can't watch or edit them.
Always give invalid file format, while all sat channels work fine.
    Any ideas?

    Cannot find drivers

    Hi
I am trying to get a USB DTT stick working in VIX 2.2,

I have tried going into the Plugins menu and slecting Download but I just get a message stating "no bnew plugins found"

I have also tried downloading the Italysat DTT Downloader - but it does not display any drivers for download.

I read that Vix 2.1 had a plug in for downloading DTT drivers but I do not wish to have to downgrade from 2.2

Is there a way to manually install the drivers - and it there somewhere to actually get VU+ Duo (VIX) specific drivers.

    Any help really appreciated.

No downloads showing at all. It has been like that since I went to 2.2. I have a wired internet connection which is working fine (IMDB etc brings up info).

Incidentally, I tried reverting to 2.1 with the same result - no download show. (BH 1.6 worked fine). I am now back on VIX 2.2.100 (downloaded from another site just in case).

However, I still cannot access any downloaded - no errors, just none avialable. It is as if the VU+ VIX server is down

    Any ideas?
