Hello from another newbie

having read up on various boxes decided to settle on the vu duo bought of ebay already setup with vix image plugged straight in dont know what i pressed but its now locked up aaagh ! swithes on but cant access any menu or any programs just has a blue panel at bottom of screen with snr n/a ber n/a record subservices timeshift and extensions any help would be appreciated many thanks

it would be best to post your question on the forum,

but which unit is it you have, is it the uno,solo or duo ( twin tuner )
when the unit boots up, the start screen, is it a black screen, with a white stick type logo, or a grey screen with a fancy logo

how can i check what image i have .it was all setup for me was told it was the latest image

its the duo its a fancy logo with the spinning vix comes up starting then loading enigma 11 then after about 30 secs the blue screen at the bottom appears
