    Android or Apple

Hello, Probably going to upgrade my old phone in the next few weeks but not sure if android or apple is best. With the new iphone coming out will the old ones start to get cheaper? I dont really know much about all the techno stuff except that I need a touch screen phone to get the internet and keep a good connection and not be too big but no keyboard needed like a blackberry or one of them that rotates and gives a keyboard. Had a quick look into a phone shop and an iphone is about as big as I would want but not bigger.

Thanks for the info, as iPhone users do you often get loss of internet signal or is it very stable? I have tried to get info on some phones and reading about it seems that some of the android ones can have wifi problems so i wondered if this is common. Is there a list of things that iPhones can do that android cant do and the reverse or are they all the same now

Android all the way, I would recommend the HTC desire HD but the LCD screen holds it back, if it had the same as its smaller brother than it would be no1 imho.

its interesting that both iPhones and android have their fans. From my nooobie knowledge am I right in thinking that the android give the best value of phone for money including Flash but with iPhone it is the intuitive interface and the products followers? Just from a view of connection to the internet excluding flash, keeping a good stable connection and forgetting all of the other stuff like email and apps and customisation which is the best, android or iPhone 4. I know I can get a half decent android for free from my phone company as I am out of contract but they will ask for some money for an iphone but not full cost. Another final question if you can help me, can a smartphone connect to a satellite receiver and download a recording if the satellite receiver is connected to a router or a hub or a modem

The Iphone is very nice especially the screen but bang for bucks, quite a few of the android phones are as good if not better.

I cant contact to my box on my HTC, change channel etc and watch movies on the WIFI though not 3G.

If you get dreamon on the iPhone u can watch the channels from your phone.
I had both a galaxy S and iPhone.
iPhone 4 beats it hands down.
I gave the galaxy S to the wife and I had to go and get her an iPhone and sold the S.

I must say the iPhone is fantastic

    Iphone for me also..

Ive had one since they came out.. I even have my upgraded iPhone 4 32GB still in the box.. as my older one is still in as new condiction..

Most of my friends all moved to the HTC HD7 when it came out.. as its supposed to be the best on the market..

They are all now back with iPhone.. and not going to anything else.. They all agree that iPhone is the future..

The An droid seems to be a bit low on appz.. So this was part of the reason why they all went back to iPhone..

+1 for Android just got a Galaxy S2 and beats everything Ive ever had before hands down, What I didnt like about the iPhone is the inflexibility and you pay for everything one way or another, with Android its flexible with lots of free Apps, Themes, etc and of course the huge Dev scene providing all sorts of upgrades and superior ROMs way before the manufacturers, bit like the Sat scene really but much much bigger

I use a HTC Desire S which I think is good enough size wise and speed with it. Roughly same spec as a iPhone4. Samsung Galaxy S2 looks ace too!
