    not necessarily. Top should be present date and next line the date of the EPG. Scroll down to the next day(s) and take a look.

    Top right shows today's date, top left shows the selected date, twice, one above the other, at least it does for me.

    Here's another I prepared earlier, with "Friday 9 April 2021" and "Fri 9 Apr 202" showing, together with today's date (Tuesday 6 April 2021) in the top right hand corner.
