As long as the channel exists in lamedb it can be added without scanning another provider. You just need to break the service ref into a Python dict.

    Example here: https://www.world-of-satellite.com/s...l=1#post472107

Got it!! Had to enable swap on sky provider.
Will I need to add the file to my backup?

    No. It happens automatically.

    Channel 4hd freesat

Sorry to resurrect this, but can someone how I can add Dave ja vu to freesat? I’ve tried in the same way as adding ch4hd but not working.

**nevermind, it’s not free anyway** DOH!

Manually scan the channel so it exists in lamedb and then use this method:

To add the channel to lamedb, manually scan 11126 Mhz, vertical, 22000

    Menu > setup > Tuners & scanning> manual scan

Using left/right/up/down arrows, change selection so you select

Tuner: The one with access to 28.2
    Type of scan: Predefined transponder
    Satellite: 28.2
    Transponder: 11126 V 22000 5/6
    Network scan: No
    Clear before scan: no
    Only free scan: no

To add to ABM bouquets when using Freesat only, use the xml here
    https://www.world-of-satellite.com/s...l=1#post472107

    and place in /usr/lib/enigma2/python/Plugins/SystemPlugins/AutoBouquetsMaker/custom
Once transferred, you must run ABM again so that it uses the new files

This post is about channel/bouquets, not EPG.
