    4K Playback problem

Hi, I am looking for some help trying to play UHD content which I downloaded.
I have a Vu+ duo 2 running Open vix and I am trying to play mkv files of the Haunting of Hill House.
The properties of the files say Frame width 3840 Frame height 1920 Total Bitrate 448kbps Frames per second 23.98. And the files are quite large 10 episodes of about 10gb each.
When I try to play these files I am getting audio only and subtitles until I turned them off but no video.
I am using the default recorded content player to play these. Is there a codec I need to install to enable playback of these files or another player I could set to be the default player or is playback of these not possible on this box?
    Thanks.

The Vu+ Duo2 is not a 4K receiver, so no chance of 4K content playback.

Duo2 will not play 4K video as it's not capable of it.

If you actually meant you have an Ultimo4K, then it's probable that the mkv's are H.264 (mpeg4) and the Ultimo4K does not support H.264 4K.

    Use a program like mediainfo
    Code:
    mediaarea.net/MediaInfo
to find out what codecs are used in the file.
Zgemma H7S running OpenVIX 6.2, Darkmotor, Triax TD110 dish, Inverto Black Ultra dual lnb
    LG 50UM7450 4K TV, Pioneer VSX-534 Atmos AVR , Panasonic UB820 region free 4K Bluray & a PS4.

    Yes so it's Mpeg4 (H.265 / X264) which the Ultimo4K chipset doesn't support.
