In the latest ViX images, time shift and permant timeshift have now been merged into one single entity, fully configurable via the above mentioned path as pointed out by rob

When I go into Timeshift in the menu I now only get 6 options, is this correct?
6 it is.
Between the lines I read that you are missing something; correct?

On the Twin,build 671. There is only the option to change location. No other options are available.
To be honest, on the TM Twin and Single, PTS worked perfectly until that file system/hardlinks error cropped into the image.
PTS and Time shift have been merged into one single Timeshift function and completely re-written with new features added such as the ability to automatically save and crop individual events.

Are you saying that if we want PTS, we have to manually start TS by pressing pause and then play after channel change?
