    Webif authentication question

    Hi,

Had a look around and can't see anywhere this question has been covered. If I turn on authentication in webif im assuming default username ans password are root and whatever you changed your box psw to?

If so, is it possible to add a different username and password to get into webif? If so, how would I go about doing this?

    Many thanks.

Yes, you can add a user through the terminal:
    Code:
    adduser Markymark
You are then prompted to type in the password for user Markymark twice.

Oh excellent - thanks for that.

I think I will try and spend sometime writing a newbies guide at some point, if that is any good? I know I have asked a few questions to get going and I bet they are all fairly common ones that are asked all the time.
