Old receivers not supported can still use Freesat so still handy for use.
It will still work. You will notice the reboot speed, but for watching TV it is fine. One chap is using Oscam with Icam patch on it and it is fine for watching Sky in SD. His image is 10 years old. You will need a swap file for CrossEPG as it does not have enough RAM. One of the biggest problem with them was the PSU and losing the 5v rail. Keep an eye out for a newer receiver though.
Is tecnomate bringing out a new resever then watch out for what ?
I meant keep an eye out on offers/deals from retailers/members selling a newer receiver.

Thank u again for the information
Before you fire it up, it's a good idea to inspect the receiver for any signs of physical damage, such as cracks or frayed wires. You may also want to check the electrical components to ensure they are in good working order.
Additionally, if you plan to use the receiver with newer devices, such as a modern TV or streaming box, you may need to ensure that the inputs and outputs on your receiver are compatible with these devices.

Literally found my old vu duo today with red light! Also found the capacitors I bought to replace faulty ones! So might give this a try this week.
