    This is my first Vu+ stb, then I have some noob questions

    So, to be clear for me. An example: if I want to install LCD4LINUX plugin, which we have different version for different OE versions, which one should I use? I dont know if you are familiar with that plugin

    Another noob question... is it possible to have subtitles in media player? I'm trying here, but without success, but maybe is my fault. The subtitle is in .srt format (spanish language) for a .mkv file, with the exactly same name

    Indeed: a .srt with the same name should be played. Does the subtitle show when using the subtitle-button?

    If it doesn't work you could try the subtilte player (available from the feeds). As I understand it, that will work fine, but you'll need to learn how to use it.
