Regrettably, I must take back my statement. Even with that dongle the Internet contact will be lost unexpectedly and reboot is needed. Software update is stuck in endless running thus forcing a powered reboot when the contact is lost without notice. I'm sorry to claim that in spite of its superiority the VIX team has never managed to master the wireless Internet. This I dare say because VTI works with any of my dongles. My sincere wish is that VIX could prove its excellence even here.

strange you bring that last post up mate as I was just about to ask, does updating to the latest images like I have mean that maybe usb wireless dongles that didnt work in the box before might work now ? If so, I wonder just how many do or dont, hmmmmmmmm ?

System OE:OE-Alliance 3.4
Firmware version:OpenViX 4.2.021 (2016-12-06)

I'm afraid it does seem to be a bit random at times.
Updated to the latest Vix image, she wouldn't pick up my usb dtt stick, nor my wifi dongle.
Tried an AAF image, same problem.
Tried BH 1.7.2, dtt stick yes, but no wifi dongle.
Happened to browse here yesterday and saw blackhole 1.7.3 and thought, what the heck, I'll give it a whirl and voila, everything works now.

I have the TP-Link TL-WN723N (Version 1) can someone hook me up with the drivers for it as I am unable to connect to the box wired
Belkin 7050 v5 + vu+ uno works fine.
Here you go mate
Tried using my HTC One X as a wifi hotspot (using mobile data over O2 UK network) but unfortunately that didn't work. I got it to see the network and connect to it, but it just didn't work unfortunately. Connecting my laptop to the network worked fine however. Has anyone else successfully used a phone? I will be without internet for a couple of weeks at my new place so would ideally want to use mobile data, but can't crack it as of yet. Managed to get it working using a TP Link wireless stick though, will edit in exact model later.
Hi,
I've successfully tested a TP-LINK TL-WN727N on the DUO build 2.4-155. Works pretty well with a BT Home Hub 3 router.
Cheers
