    Migrating box and content

    Hi.

I'm sure this has been asked before but i can't seem to find it. I'm upgrading my box from a mutant hd51 to a gigablue uhd ue 4k and also the hdd from 1tb to 2tb.

I'm on the latest version of openvix and would like to move all my settings, autotimers and recording to the new box.

Can i just clone the old hdd to the new, or would i be better to manually copy all the recordings and timers?

Settings wise, can i backup the old box and then restore on the new box or will this not work as I'm changing make and model?

    Any help appreciated. Thanks

The tuners are different, so you will need to check the tuners afterwards

If you are still using the old receiver, you can mount the HDD onto new receiver and still access the recordings. You can either clone the HDD before installing it or just copy the movies folder across.
You don't need to clone the HDD,
