Box keeps going into crash log screen

    Hello Folks,

    Hope you are all well.

Updated my Zgemma H7S box to the latest OpenVix firmware 6.2.001

Update was successfully done, everything running normal.

When I rebooted box and it came on as usual then it went into crash log screen.

Now the box just keeps rebooting and crash log screen appears, consistently.

    any way to fix this?

Any guidance and support will be appreciated.

    Hello people,

The box is gone in to a crash boot and now stuck on the channel with vix logo spinning on the top left of the screen. Unable to control by remote

If I switch it off from the back and on again it will go in to boot up and then crash again, just repeats itself.

    Any support will be helpful.

Is this with the usb? because I have done this several times and failed. got the box working for now.

After a nightmare morning I started repeatedly pressing the exit button on the remote before crash screen appeared after boot load and surprisingly it didn't crash.

But I know if I reboot box again, it will go in to crash log screen and so on.

Seems like I need to Re-flash and start fresh.

will you know the exact method on this?

Download and extract the image to a USB stick

Plug the USB Stick in the receiver.

Turn power off with rocker switch at the back. Give 3o secs turn rocker switch back on.

You should now get flashing lights, press the front power button, let it do its thing.

It will reboot, remove the USB or it will try to reflash again.

You should now be done, from here you can install your settings from backup or start from scratch

So you have a H7 receiver …. So its multiboot and can have several images installed.
the best way if you still have ViX up and running, is short press blue button- ——> click on ViX ———-> click on ImageManager—-> yellow button download image choose openvix, chosse latest image, download.
once downloaded ——> blue button flash……. Choose slot NOT current slot!,,, Wait it will unpack image, flash and then reboot.
say no to restore settings and setup from fresh
