    Youtube plugin fails

    Hi,

    Every time i try to start a video in Youtube i get an error ; extract video url no video info.
    I tried the Blackhole image maybe its a Youtube fail, but it worked like a charm....

    Updated to 5.4.003 on a VU+ Zero 4K.

    I think its happening on many boxes not just yours as i am getting the same error on a Zgemma h7s and on 5.3.039.

    Because there had been no posts I thought it was me
    It just started not after update or anything so it must be YouTube end again.
    Odd thing is it randomly works

    That was back in March April I use YouTube regularly only went wrong this week

    I was trying to download a YT video a few days ago (nothing to do with Vix) and while a youtube-dl from March reported it couldn't find a video, one from Dec(?) could.
    It possible YT has changed things recently.

    Youtube now requires a licence for download I believe. If you search the forum you will see others with similar issues.

    I never downloaded and only streamed it but same error,tv is better with voice control.

    Search the forum @cactikid - it's an issue with the way the YouTube plugin interfaces with Google/YouTube. You need to create an API key, I believe.

    Okay, found out don't use the Openvix Youtube-plugin but install Chromium os and the Youtube-tv player is installed also.......
    For now .... problem solved.

    when searching online i found that the Solo and the Duo have build in bleutooth and the Zero doesn't use bleutooth..
