Remote: Harmony 200, 700, Link, Smart Control, Smart Companion, Elite, 2*Ultimate, Keyboard
why not use HDMI-CEC.
thats what i use on my sammy and the only buttons that arent mapped are the play, pause, stop etc. that is more likely due to my tv being 7 years old.
Forgive me for digging up on this very old thread.
The Vu-HDMI-CEC function supports all commands from the LG remote control. To do this:
On Vu+ :
- Active HDMI CEC
- Active Use TV remote control
On LG :
- Active SimpLink
- All inputs
- for the HDMI number of your VU+: Setup universal control
- Show all devices
- You have to choose a simplink compatible device : Game console or other box. (it's the same)
That's all : Your Vu+ answer to the LG remote.
I only have a problem on my 2016 LG TV OLED55B6V with webOS 3.5. The TV don't send digits of the remote (verified with Hdmi-CEC log). For me it's a oversight of LG developers. I'm afraid it will never be corrected
If you have webOS 4 or 4.5 can you tell me if it is the same ?
