Question ABM not swapping FTA HD channels on Sky London SD

Hi guys i have three enigma 2 boxes (vu Solo SE v2, Edision os mini and Edision OS Mega)

The problem box is the edision os mega.

I am set to London SD custom with swap enabled.

The other two boxes swap all hd channels ie BBC 1 HD 101, BBC 2 HD 102, ITV 1 HD 103, Channel 4 HD 104 etc

However the edsion os mega seems to show BBC 1 HD 101 then skips to 106 missing all HD channels in between.

I have tried a fresh reflash with the latest openvix image and the problem still persists.

    Any advice would be appreciated.

I'm not sure of the location for the log file for ABM if you need me to upload it.

    Regards

    Minesh

ABM not swapping FTA HD channels on Sky Lond

What image are you on. Please don't say "latest" and compare across the receivers.

Issue is you are hiding the secondary bouquet. IIRC, we changed logic slightly afterwards. Hiding the bouquet should not make a difference if you have a very recent image.

    Hi

    Image is 5.3.026

Im hiding the bouquets ie adult, bbc red button, sky info etc

I'm not sure what you mean by secondary bouquet

I have a cable connection on but don't have the bouquets set for that as I don't have a sub. I just use FTA sat on this box

    Regards

When running Sky UK through ABM, you have a “Secondary” section bouquet also.

You are still hiding the secondary channels bouquet and others.

    Code:
    < 102.9675> [ABM-config] level: expert
    < 102.9679> [ABM-config] providers: sat_282_sky_uk:sdcustom_london:45:
    < 102.9684> [ABM-config] keepbouquets: All
    < 102.9688> [ABM-config] hidesections: sat_282_sky_uk:490|sat_282_sky_uk:560|sat_282_sky_uk:580|sat_282_sky_uk:801|sat_282_sky_uk:900|sat_282_sky_uk:950|sat_282_sky_uk:981|sat_282_sky_uk:993|sat_282_sky_uk:1000|sat_282_sky_uk:1020|sat_282_sky_uk:1030|sat_282_sky_uk:1050
    < 102.9692> [ABM-config] add provider prefix: False
< 102.9695> [ABM-config] show in extensions menu: False
    < 102.9698> [ABM-config] placement: top
    < 102.9702> [ABM-config] skip services on non-configured satellites: True
    < 102.9705> [ABM-config] show non-indexed: False
    < 102.9709> [ABM-config] FTA_only: sat_282_sky_uk
The secondary channel bouquet starts at 981. It is between International and Adult

    Code:
            <section number="701">International</section>
            <section number="801">Secondary Channels</section>
            <section number="900">Adult</section>
If you cannot see the hide section, try a different skin while you configure ABM. Simple1080 or Vix Night HD.

Changing 'Keep all non-ABM bouquets' to 'no' enables the hide section of the menu.

Strange, that should not be the case. Default option to keep non-abm bouquets is yes and shows the menu for ABM sections/bouquets.

Setting that to No, enables selecting hiding the bouquets that do not belong to ABM. You wouldn't want to offer option to hide/keep non-ABM bouquets if they said the user wants to keep all of the non-ABM ones.

Maybe I'm confusing it with the 'keep' bouquets bit, long day at work

Shall we change that to "Keep non-ABM bouquets"?
