F-plugs for thicker cable

The cable type should be printed on the jacket at intervals. If it's thicker it may not bend as easily to attach to dish arm/LNB etc. It needs to carry LNB IF (1000 - 2500MHz) without too much attenuation. Also needs to be 75ohm type - some commercial (and amateur radio) cable is matched for 50ohm. I'm just pointing out what may be downsides to otherwise free/cheap cable

The type of screening and dielectric may also be important factors
