EPG Tweak needed

Hi



I’m currently running 5.3 and everything works great, thanks to everyone for their hard work.

However..



Since the update, my EPG seems to have gotten much longer and doesn’t quite fit in the box. Is there a way to shorten this info, rearrange it or make the font smaller? I’m not sure if this is a skin issue (magic-FHD) or a Vix thing.

I see options for multi/single/infobar/graphicalinfobar and graphical epg but I don’t know which one I’m supposed to be adjusting! Can anyone explain what all of these are?!

If I'm viewing the EPG (not via menu/setup/EPG), menu gives me the options.

Sorry for being a bit daft, I can see options (plenty of them!) but I first need to figure out what the names are.

When I list channels without changing them from a bouquet and the preview (as my screenshot) show info- what’s this called?

When I’m watching something and press ok twice I get the same info but more of it - what’s this called?

Also.. I see the info has changed. I never got actors names, episode numbers etc before - what could have made this change?

If you describe the exact button pushes, started from live TV, maybe that will help.

It maybe just that more data is being made available than before. You should see the German ones.

Maybe you should try another skin?

When viewing bouquet contents, the service list is shown with a preview. Under this is some epg data - I just want to reduce the size of the font on this text. I normally get this by pressing up and entering a bouquet.

I did play with some settings but ended up reducing the service list text instead and not the epg data.
I may try another skin but the others imo are very fussy, I like the clean look of this one. Even prefer it to the original sky skin.

It seem to "just fit" to me.
That panel should scroll (after a small initial delay) if the information is any longer.
Why do you wish to shorten it?

You’re probably right. It does just about fit but on some descriptions but it doesn’t fit. I know this because when zapping to it and pressing ok you get the full screen description on the now/next screen. Doesn’t scroll but maybe that’s something to do with the skin.

It’s not that big a deal but when you’re scrolling through channels you ideally want short quick information rather than the war and peace version. Makes sense don’t you think? For some reason I’m getting the genre come up now too which I didn’t before.
