Some services show no picture or sound issues

    Hi there,

I have an issue with some channels on my box. No picture or sound EPG populate alright. Signal is good no problem there, all info for the satellite are shown but there is nothing on the TV. I have checked my card on the old sly box no problem whatsoever for any channel...

Done several scan and ABM, nothing. I am at a loss...

    OpenVIX ver is 4

    Pls HELP!

Depends on the channels you are trying to view and wether they are hardware paired to the original sky receiver and card. These channels for example most HD sports and movie channels simply can't at present be viewed with any third party receiver unless using something like a monsoon media vulkano box to stream them directly from the sky box.
My posts contain my own personal thoughts and opinions, they do not represent those of any organisation or group but my own.

If you don't like what I post, Don't read it.

    SIMPLES.

Thanks for the answer Larry-G, the problem doesn't relate to HD channels or at least not only. I was until a few weeks able to watch all my subscriptions channels Movies and Sport…

    There is something:

I go to the first movie channel and present OK twice to get to the extended EPG details in the left hand corner there are a number of letters: NDS B I S V NCW CO BI DC
Next to it there is a mention of the way the channel is 'delivered' for BBC1 HD and SD it say Free to Air, All the characters are white. For the Premier Movie channel NDS is kind of greyed out and there are no mention of the delivery mode, This goes on for all the Movie channels and now all of the sports ones, last week I had a few they have now all gone. Yet on TCM+1 (not TCM) I have the following information in the delivery mode section (I apologize if this is an infringement of the forum rules, I am not sure) :
    Server: /Dev/sc1
    Protocol: Hops:0 Ecm: 0.092
Also the NDS is highlighted in green and the program is showing on the channel (currently Rawhide with a very young Clint Eastwood)
So for some channels it works, I am

    Thanks for any input,
    H.

That's your local card being used.
The fact it'snot working for other channels still suggests an entitlement issue.

    CCcam entitlement

Thanks judge by entitlement issue you mean my subscription to some channels aren't you? I have an old white sky card that I have been using for a few years now, my subscription is for a Sky World package (methinks) no paying HD just the free ones but all the Sky SD channels and a few more…

I think it has to do with either oscam or cccam are setup, I am really with these softcams it is a pain in the neck to find simple concise answer for the sky enigma2 settings/files :roll eyes:

Just found that in the CCcam info > entitlement it say entitlement 18?! There are also some errors in the oscam log but I am tempted to turn oscam off and just use CCcam, also my CCam.cfg mentions several files:

    CHANNELINFO FILE : /var/etc/CCcam.channelinfo
    PROVIDERINFO FILE : /var/etc/CCcam.providers
    CAID PRIO FILE : /var/etc/CCcam.prio

None of these are located in etc/

Should just be able to use CCcam with CCcam.cfg.

    Code:
BOXKEY: /dev/sci0 XX XX XX XX
    SMARTCARD CLOCK FREQUENCY: /dev/sci0 3570000
Just make sure box key is correct for your card. For the rest just use the standard CCcam.cfg.

Box Flashed a new this morning openvix 4.2 latest version, cccam installed from the feed, cccam.cfg at its barest…

Lost all entitlements, although they are listed in the cccam info with nodeID etc…

Same thing with the movie channels:
    TCM+1 shows
    Server /dev/sci1
    Protocol:sci Hops:0 ecm:0.093

But Sky Movies Premier or Sky Sports 1 NDS is greyed out.

Yet the card works fine on the old skydigibox...

However some Sports channels have reappearedbut most have not I am at a loss.

I have turned the debug option in CCcam but don't see any log file anywhere.

I am suspecting the et10K is playing up, the card works fine in the digibox is there anyway to test the ability of the box reading the card?
