    Lx3 cable tuner

    Hi world of Sat,

Can anyone tell me why cannot buy a cable tuner anymore for the Lx3 and why can I not buy the box anymore, has it all been discontinued and is there any compatible products. Bought the box a year ago and now cannot buy cable tuner.
    Any help much appreciated.

Hello if memory serves me well, I think that Miraclebox use the same tuners so you might be able to use the ones from the Premium Ultra Receiver but WOS will probably confirm if i am wrong

and like you i am very surprised that the LX3 is getting harder to find as it is a very good receiver but seems to be short in supply

I'm guessing with the Mut@nt HD2400 and now the Xtrend ET10000, probably people getting those as apposed to the LX3? Dunno, only guessing here btw.

I don't think that they have stopped selling the LX3 more the fact that they can not get a supply, I know that they where hard to get at the end of last year, then wos managed to get some in the new year but they have seemed to dry up since then, someone that i knew wanted a LX3 last xmas but could not find one and gave up

give WOS a pm like i said i think the Miraclebox uses the same tuners

Tried WOS for a MB tuner and they do not work in the LX3. WOS advised this.

You can buy them from some European sites if you're happy buying from abroad.

    http://www.amazon.de/Atemio-Nemesis-.../dp/B00NG6MI5A

If you can hang fire I've got some on the way from Germany now and from what I've read these from the Atemio Nemesis are compatible

The Sezam Marvel looks to be another variant of this one as well but it doesn't look like that's widely available in Europe.

Good news - the Nemesis tuner seems to work fine in the LX3, at least for DVB-T and DVB-T2 anyway (I'm not in a cable area yet so that is all I can test).
