Hi all i have solo2 with vix when i press the OK button on the remote control the box on screen has a record red light to tell me it is recording but today
it is flashing green any ideas.

Thats not the record icon it is the update icon signaling that a update is available for your receiver. If you'r image is build 153 or lower you MUST perform a full reflash, a online update is not recommended nor is using a settings backup.

Thanks pheonix i got the box 06/03/2015 2weeks a go from world of satellite they put a 500gb hd in and put on vix
can i find out what build on it if it is a later build than 153 can i update it and who.

Menu> Information> About = will tell you the exact build it is currently running, If 153 or lower you will need to reflash but you can find a flashing tutorial for our receiver via our download site at www.openvix.co.uk
