    slow playing

    are there any other media players on the vix image as when I play back films what ive downloaded in all kinds of format it plays very slow and stuttering thank you

    Its nothing to do with the image or the media player, its the files you downloaded that need to be re-encoded correctly. your satellite's ability to play media files is handled by hardware not software and it can only play files that meet specific standards.

    Because they will have the correct codecs needed to play the files, your satellite receiver is not meant to be a all singing and dancing media playing device, you should consider the media playing part as a bonus regardless of what sales patter the manufacturers plaster on the side of the box.
