Not totally sure how these features add to box.
Gigabit ethernet will this be a faster connection.
1gb of ram is this the actual flash memory making it a faster box because its 512mb of nand ????.
What are the improvements from the original quad? Will vix be providing an image from release or how soon after will there be a vix image available?

Will there be a vix image for the quad plus on release date?
I know the vix team don't want to give to much away about the new image but at the same time I don't want to leave the wife with an image she can't use.
We do have a working image for the quad plus but I dont know the current status of it as I dont use a gigablue or keep up with gigablue developments.

Who reckons this box will have transcoding on it and working??

The GBQuad+ box can't really be tested till they exist (atleast in testing teams).
Can't see why we wouldn't support them except for driver issues.
And if it's down to driver issues, GB really need to get more involved with folks wiling to test their boxes...
