    message whiile trying to update

    hi guys bit of a strange one here was having issues today all of a sudden openwebif was crashing my box not a problem i thought so i just removed it via ftp box booted up no problems, then thought il check see if any new vix updates, now i keep seeing " a background update is in progress, please wait a few mins and try again" ive been trying for around 30 mins now, any ideas?

    vix build 668

    mine did the same it just sorted itself out... my build is 678

    When it takes a long time, I normally issue the following telnet command. It puts Enigma to sleep and then updates.

    Code:
    init 4 && opkg update && opkg upgrade && init 6

    you could FTP into the receiver and try deleting /var/lib/opkg/lists and see if this resolves your problem.

    thanks for the info phoenix sadly it did not work just resulted in lockups so i had to reflash all back and runnning now however i have just put ondemand back on and it refuses to play anything, is ondemand still working?

    Yes OnDemand still works, just needs the Iplayer part updating with the new URL is all.

    You dont, the fix is now in the feeds from build 680 upwards.
