    Thanks for your help.
i managed to update the box with no issues apart from 1 which is doing my head in.

the screen resolution seems fine for viewing channels but the menus, epg etc do not all fit on the screen?
the edges are all cut off so i cant see the whole menu. the first 2 or 3 letters do not fit on the screen, and also the options at the bottom like press red, blue etc do not all fit either.

have tried reseting box, changing resolution and reloading skin no luck so far.
    any ideas?

you need to adjust the OSD position ( on screen display )

    menu> setup> system> OSD> OSD POSITION.

Or (much, much) better: turn off 'overscan' on your TV.

    Hi,
Do you still need to install the bootloader before installing 3.xxx as you used to with the 2.x.x ?
I'm trying to work out why I can't mount my NAS shares in 3.0...
    Cheers,
    Gavin

    Hi,
Sorted now, had to run NFS Setup first.
Mounted drives still show as unmounted in Network browser although showing as mounted in Mountpoint manager
    Cheers,

    Hi Guys,

I like to try the VIX image on my VU DUO but I see the vuplus/duo folder contains two more files then I am used to see in other images.
The "reboot-update" and the "image version", is that OK can I leave these files on the USB stick and flash it?

    Thanks

    Edmund

    Yes.
The reboot-file doesn't do anything on the DUO & Solo (it does on other VU's) and the image-version is for your info only.
