Thumbs up Gigablue QUAD & AV Receiver HDMI Problem

Hi guys , I wonder if anyone can shed any light on this please.

I've just got a GB QUAD and flashed it with the latest ViX image.
All is well except one very important thing. It will not work via my pioneer VSX527 AV Receiver.
When the box boots from a power on, I get the initial OpenViX boot logo , then nothing. Blank screen.
It works fine if I connect directly to the TV.
I've tried different cables and different inputs on the AV amp.
I've also tried a GB 800UE on the same cables and same input on the AVR and that box works fine.

I've tried switching off all HDMI CEC functions on all devices, it made no difference.
I've tried a different image, its just the same, initial boot logo then nothing. So I flashed it back to ViX.

I'm at a loss what else I can try.
    Any thoughts please gents ?
    Cheers
    B16MCC.

I don't use my Quad with my HDMI amp (I just use the optical AC3 with the amp)
But as a test I connected it up (Sony STR-DH800) and got NO picture but did get 5.1 DD sound.
I "think" I read somewhere there is a problem with HDMI CEC so maybe that is blocking the signal?

Hmm ok thanks for testing it. Perhaps another outstanding driver issue. Fingers crossed it gets picked up.

I've got my Quad linked via HDMI through my Yamaha amp with no problems using Vix image, picture and sound is great.

I had a similar problem with an HDMI connection from PC to TV and screen sizing, it was the HDMI cable at fault !!

All this hand shaking with HMDI is a pain. I often have to switch the TV off/on for it to connect to the amp, after watching the news in SD.

I have covered HDMI pin 13 with a piece of tape to stop CEC interference.
