    yr framebuffer is not being loaded and hence yr getting segfault

    you need to look into that to find a solution

    Thanks for your replay! Probably is better sent te receiver to a official supporter because i think i donīt have enough knowledge to solve this problem.

    With putty or other software and null modem cable is not possible flash or sent any firmware to the receiver?

    i would say yes send it off for repair if your not sure

    Many thanks for your help. I will sent tomorrow the receiver for repair. I received today the response from seller and the warranty will be activated.

    Guyīs today I tried to update mates ET5000 and Iīm having same problem, however when I type in init4 and then enigma2 I get:

    framebuffer not available.
    FATAL: no framebuffer available
    Segmentation fault

    Can anyone help as worried I have "bricked" his box. I can access the box both with putty and cuteTP. Been at it since 1pm today.... No hair left to pull.

    have you done this... put the ET5000 folder in the root of a USB stick, put the stick in any of the USB ports then hold the up arrow on the front of the receiver and the new firmware will start flashing

    And I have the same problem. I tried 30 images but the screen remains green. Is dead?

    As rossi said ViX 2.3 is something like three years old, no longer has any feeds nor a build GIT. if you want to use a newer image you need to reflash the receiver with a USB stick it can not be done online.

    go to openvix.co.uk and download the latest Apollo image from there.

    FIXED with latest apolo vix image in my case I have ET4000 with three lights no booting enigma2 problem only xtrend logo on tv
    with crashlog no framebuffer available I have test all ET4000 images openpli,openatv, factory original image also bootloaders but simple fixed with this apolo vix openvix-Apollo.166-et4x00_usb

    I am very very happy you save 100 euros to me.
