    Secondary Set top box recommendation

    Hi folks

So I am looking to add client box to the main bedroom via ethernet connection, will not be able utilise any physical tuners.

The primary set top box currently is a Vu+ Duo 4k in the sitting room, has

    • Freesat tuner A c,d,e,f,g

    • Hotbird tuner B, h

    • Saorview (Ireland terrestrial) tuner I & J

    Running the latest OpenVix image

I was thinking the Vu+ Zero might be a tidy solution, but the hardware is getting a little old in the tooth at this stage ?. I am still open to purchasing it (from here as usual )

But have the good folks here any newer alternative recommendations ? I am interested in small and compact, but enough horses for zero lag experience, no requirement for multiple tuners I'm not familiar with anything outside of the Vu range which I've used for years

I've never run the home server/client model before

Am I correct I will be just streaming from the Vu Duo box, and able to channel flick without interfering with channels on Duo if someone is using it...

Recording functionality not required for the secondary box

    TY
