SF8_HD - Channel switch delay (my solution)

Hopefully i'm posting in the right place.

Recently i bought an SF8 with Vix image pre-flashed. I noticed after setup that changing channels had a significant delay, in some cases taking upto 10 seconds to change. Menu navigation was also a bit sluggish.

In order to try and fix this i reflashed the suggested image for the Octagon SF8_HD, However the problem continued.

After a week or so i have discovered how to fix this issue:

Menu/setup/system/VFD_SF8 - Change option to 'always off' snd hey presto.

I'm not sure why this happens. I note that the recommended file to be flashed to the SF8 has a folder named something like 'XP1000' which i believe is an earlier model of the SF8 (which doesnt have a VFD on the unit) therefore perhaps the cause of this problem in some way.

Anyway, just my own personal experience which i hope helps others out. (Not sure whether i'm an isolated case).

Would be good if someone involved with the images/boxes can take a look at this.
