Maxdigital XP1000 distorted picture

Hi All. I flashed a few images to my MD XP1000 and have the same problem. The picture is distorted and grainy with the colours all "extreme". I have tried all images, so I guess it is a hardware issue. Anyone any ideas ? Tried viewing by both HDMI and SCART, still the same issue. The current image on the box is MaxDigital XP1000 Oscam Ymod Backup By master G.
