OK I waited for screen shots but in the end I flashed DE and applyed the mod.

I can see the impovment but think more is still required to improve the DE graph epg, I really do like the DE images but the skin creators seem to lack imagination when it comes to graph epg. When asked to change it in any way they see it as a personal attack on there skins and insist the skins must stick to the same format to increase speed and stability.

In my opinion removing the program description to allow more room for the improved font size would be a start if you need the program description you can press ok, also full screen woud be better.

I have added screen shots of DE graph epg & VTI Brushed Alu 8 time lines for comparison.

Just to add it`s great to see oneforeall`s efforts to improve the graph epg, its the one big problem I have with linux boxes im sure one day someone will create a image and skin that solves the problems.

Sicilian: Thanks. Though it might be better to keep it where it is added so that the users could choose the version they like.

I thought I would post my findings with VTI 1.3 and Brushed Aluminium Skin.

When I open the Graphical Multi EPG and choose a bouquet, the Electronic Program Guide only allows me to choose either Favourites or user (a bouquet I created) but it only shows the current program and the next one that's on after it apart from 1 channel (BBC World News)
I thought this was a 5 day guide.

    Any ideas ?

    Cheers.

It will show as many days, as what you have in your epg. This will not populate the epg for you. It just displays the epg data you have.

For your vti image, you will need to use the rytec epg importer to download more epg data for those channels in your bouquet

I've noticed that the ability to customise the layout by pressing blue does not work anymore. When I restored the two files and rebooted the blue button becomes active again.

    @TommyTurnip:
Could you please add a screen shot of the customization screen?

    Cheers,

where you using PLi version ?, that has a very different version where you can change the number of items / font size and other options. which this plugin is not designed to do.

BUT good news is i have spent most of the afternoon rewiring this version to use the customise option using blue button. also added a NEW option that Pli version does not have, you can enable / disable the use of picon, images.

if oneforall gives me permission i will upload it for everyone use.

make a backup of your current version if required. (located in /usr/lib/enigma2/python/Plugins/Extensions/GraphMultiEPG)

here you go guy's, just ftp into your /tmp folder and type the following in a telnet session or use the ipkg installer from your blue button.

    Code:
    ipkg install /tmp/enigma2-plugin-extensions-graphmultiepg_andyblac-mod-r1_all.ipk
use the BLUE button to access the setup menu

    hope you like.
