How to change Boot up logo??

Try this, not sure if it will do it on the TM500 as its an E1 box.

Hi blueboy in share/tuxbox/enigma/boot 2 files( blank.png and blank.skin) i don,t know which one can you help me out please!!

ive only done this for a neutrino image for my cable d box2 m8, so im not to sure if this would work, i used logo viewer & paintshop pro9 to make the logo,

first create a bmp at 256 colours 720x576 [ a nuetrino colour pallet was installed within pro9 for it to work ]
open logo viewer[ click on the tab logo-tb ]
drag your picture on to that window and you will get a message, as long as you have done it all correctly and press the ok button
say NO to a black frame around this logo, then it should of encoded it correctly
click on save logo[m1v] and save it as logo-fb it will be called logo-fb.m1v
if youve done everything correct that is all you need to do is change the name of the logo-fb.m1v file to logo-fb and save it on the box /var/tuxbox/boot/ and overwrite it
all done and ready to go ????

As i said earlier m8 this was for a d box so it may not be the same for an enima image m8.... good luck .......
