    Multichoice Africa

    Hi rytec

    I hope you will be able to assist. There are a lot of missing channels in the rytec.channels.xml file. Can I give it to you to have it added?
    If not, do you know who updates the rytec channels file?

    Here is the list;
    <channel id="105.dstv.com">1:0:1:15e:3:1800:2ad0000:0:0:0: </channel> <!-- MStar -->

    Hi Willy

    Are you the right guy to update the rytec.channels.xml file? I do have a long list of channels that must be added, details below.
    Many thanks, Chris.

    Neither of these posts have anything to do with Csat do they? They appear to be multichoice Africa package?! Unless I'm missing something?

    Hi Pooface

    You are correct that it is multichoice, all I am trying to do is to get someone to add these in the rytec.channels.xml file.
    I could not see any contact details to send the channels on the rytec.be website.
    Any help with how can do it for us?
    Is this the wrong forum?
    Do you know the correct forum?

    Much appreciated.
    Chris

    Moved these out from this thread, as it wasn't about csat-france...

    Ryan usually comes on here quite often, so don't worry, he will see these posts.

    However, he can only add this channel information to to the epg downloader, if it's available to download. Do you know any xml tv sources for those channels? If they don't know them (or there aren't any), then data cannot be created for it...

    Hi

    I use CrossEPG on Enigma2 Dreambox 800 to download the 12 day EPG and it automatically updates everyday, except for the mentioned channels as they are not in the rytec.channels.xml file. All the current channels in this file are downloaded to my box. I saw a username "rytec" and "Willy" in the forums, surely they will know which file to update.

    The crossEPG provider for multichoice is in the file "xepgdb_za_multichoice_dstv_osn_xmltv_xepgdb_repac ked_.cong.
    The following lines are in there:
    description=ZA Multichoice/DSTV/OSN XMLTV (XEPGDB repacked)
    protocol=xepgdb
    headers_url =http://crossepg.sifteam.eu/rytec_za_multichoice_dstv_osn_xmltv.headers.db.gz
    descriptors_url =http://crossepg.sifteam.eu/rytec_zThe crossEPG providera_multichoice_dstv_osn_xmltv.descriptors.d b.gz

    Regards
