    Oscam

Is there a newer more stable version for this image? I currently have the one posted in the download section.

There are maybe 2 - 10 versions released each day, none of them are stable.
If what you use is working ok leave it alone, if not google streamboard and you will find your updates.

Just ftp the binary over as required, I am guessing the binary is called oscam so delete the old one and ftp the new one over.
Make sure you chmod 755 the new file.
Sorry I can not be any more accurate but I do not use VIX image.

Need to put the file in usr/softcam and set permission to 755, oscam version you need is mips.tuxbox. I am currently running 5352 but would concur Donnie advice if what you have is fine than leave it alone.

Easily done, sometimes we look to hard for a fault when it is under our nose.
Good to see you are sorted.

Eheh yes! Now it's all ok.
Another question, with internal reader all ok, but ecm it's on 150/160 with my local card. It's possible overclock the reader? I try cardmhz 686 or more but don't initialise card, only 600 (with Sly it).
With smargo reader can I do better?

Yes smargo is better than the internal reader, to get even better performance use it in a powered USB hub.
