For internal Oscam is pretty easy to configure and there are plenty of dummy configs on the net, google is your friend. One Thing I would advise is to use Filezilla and not DCC for your ftping and changing of permissions.

I've tried oscam but still can't get the sly card to show movies
Have tried various websites for info but still can't get the card to run with movies

The sly card is in the top slot

when the card is inserted the address shows /dev/sci1
the info bar also shows server /dev/sci1
    in cccam.cfg it has BOXKEY: /dev/sci0 ** ** ** **

    ecm.info & ecm0.info shows - /dev/sci11

    could this be the issue?

on most recievers this would be correct but for some reason ( not yet checked out by myself ) it appears that its the opposite on the clarke tec 9000, on the 5000 I suspect it will be sci0

    Very strange

Not sure why they would do this? it's not logical

Can't understand how the card was being read in the other slot & everything else working except for the movies

Its the same on all ET9000. The card can be read in any slot, your problem was the. BK in cfg file was pointing to the wrong slot, from the one the card was in. Nothing strange in that, box was working fine.

Hi friends i am kinda new to this site lokks great though and very helpful congrats.
I have one question though, I am using a sly white card in my et9000 with oscam.
Is it safe to use it in the internal reader or is there a chance of burning it.
    Thanks for any reply.

Stick it in and away you go, been using one for 8 months or there abouts and no problems whatsoever, runs slightly hotter than a DUO but still cool to the touch. I have never OC mine so if you dont wont be a problem.
