That sounds pretty impressive, but it is only scanning 1/4 of the satellite (vertical low) so a full scan might be 8 minutes (which is pretty reasonable). We'll know for sure when you put a stopwatch on it. What is really nice though is SR is customisable, which is a feed hunter's dream.

So assuming the settings I posted above were correct for low band, the following settings should work for high band.

    Code:
    Scan band: high
    Start freq: 1100 000 000
    Stop freq: 2150 000 000

    Low SR: 1 000 000
    High SR: 30 000 000
Using those settings and the ones above to do a complete search you would need to do four scans: low band/vertical, low band/horizontal, high band/vertical & high band/horizontal. I hope this makes some sort of sense.

No rush mate, it would just be nice to get as much info on this function as possible, because, as far as I know, no other E2 receiver has it.

Just a timed blind search using the settings above, and a list of a handful of channels that it finds.

    Hi,

What images are you using for the blind scan, I thinks that you has to use the new VIX image when it becomes out soon ?? Or can you blind scan with any images? I thinks that the blind scan was not running OK until new images were available.

I am making some decision on the ET9000 or the VuDuo but the blind scan on ET9000 if running with any images is a good choice for me

If you've got the latest beta image on your box, it should be there. Just go to service scanning. I chose manual scan, and change it to blindscan...

Will the blind scan run on other images from other developments like Pli and blackhole or are these other developments waiting to give new images to get the blind scan running?

My wife who leaves me had blackhole in her box but not sure if she she used it for blind scan, it did pick up a lot of stuff though.

Should run with Pli images, not blackhole as their image is too dated now. I believe BH stopped producing images for the the ET's.
