    If I had to guess I'd say the router's DHCP server is disabled.

    dosbox and use ipconfig /all . I always set my router LAN address as nameserver and then first DNS of my provider.

    Ps: router address is mostly standard gateway.

    Your servername is the IP address of your router. Just search the net for your ISP router address, such as BT Hub IP address. should be something like 192.168.1.???
