It takes less than 5 minutes for the flash to complete, you must be doing something wrong if it takes 30 minutes and still unfinished.

I've solved the problem. That was just weird. I've Mac OS X 10.6.6 and have the Unarchiver App. I've downloaded the zip and unzipped it, copied it to USB-Stick and get the behaviour of "flashing...."-hangs. Then i've downloaded it on Win7-Notebook and unzip it with Winrar and copied it to USB_Stick. Then it works.

With HDF-Image i dont get this behaviour on Mac OS. Something special is in this Vix-Zip..

BUt for now. I should say...woooow...what an amazing image. Thank you Vix-Team. It is really well done.

Well, I was very excited about this...
I've been using Open PLI until now...
You should know that I just bought the ET9000 about a week ago, so not much experience in this field with Enigma II.
So, I have flashed VIX image on the ET 9000, it seemed completing the process, but it was just showing that image in the background LOADING ENIGMA II

I could go through the Wizard and set it up just like Open PLI previously, it found about 3450 channels on three satellites (9deg, 13 deg and 28deg), but it won't show any channels.
A message appears suggesting to check tuner settings, but I cannot see any problem with tuner settings...
I think the problem is somewhere in the beginning of setup as it never completes loading...

Maybe I had to remove all cards (Sky and Digi TV) as well as my Dragon CAM for the time of flashing... ?

One more thing to mention is that I found the menu text very small. We've got a 26" TV and sometimes it was difficult for me to read it...I guess all the developers have 40" TVs
    I'd appreciate any help.

hmm, never had this issue, are you loading any channel pre-made channel settings ?, if not if i recall correctly the channel list opens in favourites, but as you have not uploaded/setup any it will be blank, press green then go to SATELLITES. choose your sat you want to see the channels for then select a channel.

i would recomend instaling one of the premade channel settings, go back to the main Enigma2 screen (ie come out of everything) press and hold BLUE then press GREEN, then f channels setting and choose one to install.

    try that.

I have a 37" and can just about read everything ok...

I would recommend maybe installing one of the sd skins, as the font size on them is quite large. Altho I dunno how this would look on your hd tv, lol
