    Recording Channel with empty EPG

    Hello

Does anyone know is it possible to schedule a recording on a channel with an unpopulated epg? The 'Add Timer' option is no longer available on these channels.

With the increasing reliance on IPTV, many channels are impossible to populate with an epg but users may still wish to schedule a recording for that channel at a set time (eg a sporting event in the middle of the night).

As many IPTV providers create channels just for special events it may be a future feature worth considering.

As always thanks for any help given and to the devs for the continual improvement of the image.

Does the Menu -> Timers -> Timers -> Add allow you to do it?
