VU+ UNO4K SE & Xtream Editor

Hi all got a UNO4KSE, image 6.4.011, had Xtream Editor working ok.

But today turned the box on, but it would not boot into viewing channel mode, would just stay on the boot up screen with the X spinning in the top left corner.

I had to do a fresh reinstall of image 6.4.011, everytime I install Xtream Editor using this command, the box reboots and stays on the boot up screen with the spinning X in the corner.

command I used: wget -O /tmp/install.sh "https://xeev.app/files/ipk/3.11.1.sh" && chmod 755 /tmp/install.sh && /tmp/install.sh

I've left off installing Xtream Editor for now and everything is working fine.

Am i using the wrong script to install Xtream Editor? thanks

In my view Xstream Editor is a pain. Had to look at debug logs to fix their issues several times.
It talks to a server so its possible there is just a server issue.

There are many iptv alternatives e.g. Xstreamity, e2m3u2bouquet

I gave up on Xtream Editor months ago, as Twol says it's a pain in the arse since we moved to Python 3, I use BouqetMakerXtream (BMX) by KiddaC which is brilliant.........
