I want to buy a Zgemma H7 2xDVB-2SX and have a few questions.

    Hi
I am thinking of buying the Zgemma H7 2xDVB-2SX on the world-of-satellite
I have a few questions before purchasing.
This receiver will be connected to 2 LNBs (28e and 13e).
In addition, I want to order together with the WiFi dongle.
This is how the target basic configuration should look like.
    Questions:
    1. can I watch TV on my computer via the local home network?
    2. can I watch different channels on the PC and directly on the TV at the same time?
    3. similar to question 2, only with recording, can I record from another transponder while watching something else on the PC or on the TV?
Specifically, I want to be able to watch, for example, one channel on 13e record another channel from another 13e transponder and on TV watch a channel from 28e.

    Thanks for any advice.

If your recording on 2 sats and different transponders you only have 2 but might be able to view channels on the same transponders on tv and possibly pc ?

You should be able to view recordings while box is recording.

Are you setting up the terrestrial side to add another option?

Once box is recording on that transponder all else are greyed out as non accessible.

    Not really.

That what I want to know.

Can i watch two satellite in same time?
Example: someone watch something from 13e on PC, Can I watch in same time on TV something from 28e?
And finally, what are your views on this receiver, as a keeper?

You can stream to PC from the same transponder that you are watching on the box. Or you can stream any channel from a different tuner ie if you are watching something on 13e you can stream any channel from 28e.

The H7S is a reliable box - mine is over 3 years old and I've never had any issues with it

    1. Yes
    2. Yes
    3. No - As you only have one 13e tuner you will be limited to one transponder on 13e (plus 28e)

You said you box will be "This receiver will be connected to 2 LNBs (28e and 13e)." How will you be achieving this?

The receiver has two tuners. If you connect a 13e signal wire to one tuner and 28.2e to the other. You can use one tuner for one transponder on 13e and one tuner for another transponder on 28.2e. Whether that is viewing/streaming/recording does not really matter. All these will be independent. But as soon as you try and do something that needs another transponder, it won't be possible.

If you have two diseqc switches, then both tuners can lock onto one transponder on either 13e or 28.2e. So you can have:
one transponder on 13e, another on 28.2e
    two transponders on 13e
    two transponders on 28.2

So if someone was recording one channels on 28.2e, viewing a different channel on 28.2e. The PC can only stream from those two transponders in use.

So bottom line, number of tuners = number of transponders accessible

Is the newer H7 hardware blindscan capable? I read that it "can" but only receives around 25% of transponders.
I know my several year old H7.AC only did .xml "blindscan" requiring the file to be populated with every imaginable tp/sr/fec, etc. combination.
