Noob question. Just done blind scan and basic setup.
Which usb port do i use for the wifi adapter. Nothing has been picked up
Could i have a dummies guide how how to set up the wifi dongle . Many thanks
Is your box picking up the dongle on wifi and not the lan port.
Is dongle supported by E2 as unsure if the drivers are pre loaded on image or need to be downloaded by lan connection first.
When you plugged in the dongle did you reboot the box to see your dongle and scanned your router and added your password to connect and save.
Don't have long enough ethernet to connect to lan.
Rebooted but dongle not detected.
Either it is an unsupported model , you might have tell us what model of dongle to see if can be used on these boxes , or a driver needs to be downloaded.
Might have to move box closer to router to get hooked up

It is an unbranded n300 dongle but was told via support ticket to ethernet and download RTL8192EU driver. Hopefully that'll work ��
If you have a PC try pluging it into that to see if windows recognises it if it does go do device manager and check there it will give you information of what driver required.Originally Posted by Cookiemonsteruk
