    wierd stand-by behaviour

    Hi,

recently I noticed that when I press the "stand-by" button the STB goes black, I mean no image, no LCd no display , nothing for about 15-20 seconds, then tha lcd appear and everything seems OK,
Is this normal? From what I remember there was no delay.

Nope, it's doing it again, I have no idea why, but it doesn't seem to have any other bad effects...
Maybe I'll try a reinstall from USB and see if it's some kind of corruption.

I tried with the Debug on, but either the required reboot or the fact that debug was on ( I had this happen with software I wrote...) fixed things.
After more than two days and several on-off it never happened again. Switched Deb( I don't know if there is a limit with it on) off and we'll see what happens.

Turning debug logs on only gets the output written to a file, rather than it disappearing into /dev/null.
It doesn't alter any code that is executed by enigma2 - the message get printed anyway.

    Hi,

finally I have the debug log with the delay.
I don't know if it can be useful to understand what's in the file, but I had the debug on for a couple days and the first time I had the 15-20sec delay I immediately disabled the debug and rebooted (I had to stop a record first).

    Hi,
I updated to 6.4 but the weird behaviour is still there....

I made a log, but for a while all it seemed OK, then it happened again not the 15-20sec as before but about 9-10sec.
I tink the relevant part is this (from the button presses to go into standby and the one that switched it on again)
I'll upload the entire log too...

Is there any particular reason why you have ~11,000 services which do not appear in any bouquets?

If you perform a scan using functions in Enigma2 and nota plugin, they are not added to any bouquet by default. The last scanned always changes. I regularly watch from the orbital list. Pity selection only allows 1 letter.

It was really the 11,000+ services that I was wondering about. It seems a lot. Is that number normal?

No idea, I just downloaded a setting for HotBird and Astra and built my "favorite" from that...
    I don't think I ever did a full scan...
