Is it locking onto that sat with a good signal
Might channels have moved as you could check Kingofsat for recent moves.
Bad weather effect on signal quality.

The way i am looking at that if it was a motor or alignment issue would others not also have an issue landing on.

If you are getting all the other sats, then the motor is working properly. If it's only 39E giving you the problem, then it may be a slight dish alignment issue. Couple of questions:

    1. Are you using USALS or have you set the satellite positions in numbered positions in the motor?
    2. What channels can you receive at 39E and which are not coming in?

Ok - you seem to be saying that you know what is wrong. Just makes no sense to me that the motor stops correctly on all the other satellite positions, but not on 39E. You also won't say what channels you are and aren't receiving on that satellite. Best of luck with your fault-finding.

I can receive those channels on various transponders from 39E at good signal levels, but they are all encrypted of course. I presume you have a subscription card for them? Maybe that's the issue?

LOL, I've been installing these for 20 years and have never seen one that counts wrong to one satellite. And anyway it is not moving to a satellite, it is moving to an angular position if it has been set up correctly (USALS).

Please post screengrabs of your tuner setup for 28E and 39E.
